Compass Greenfield Development is pleased to announce that three of its solar projects have been selected through the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) Long-Term 2 (LT2e) procurement process. The Golden Leaf, Elmbrook, and Cedar Agrivoltaics projects will contribute new emissions-free electricity to Ontario’s growing power system at a time when demand is expected to rise significantly. Compass Greenfield Development (“CGD”) is pleased to announce that Almonte BESS 1 and Almonte BESS 2 projects have achieved commercial operation. With these milestones, CGD has now brought both the first E-LT1 BESS project and the first LT-1 BESS project from contract award through to commercial operation. These projects reflect CGD’s ability to develop, finance, construct, and commission battery energy storage projects efficiently and in partnership with key stakeholders.
