Compass Greenfield Development is pleased to announce that three of its solar projects have been selected through the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) Long-Term 2 (LT2e) procurement process. The Golden Leaf, Elmbrook, and Cedar Agrivoltaics projects will contribute new emissions-free electricity to Ontario’s growing power system at a time when demand is expected to rise significantly. With these milestones, CGD has now brought both the first E-LT1 BESS project and the first LT-1 BESS project from contract award through to commercial operation.
