In June 2026, Compass Greenfield Development joined representatives from the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation for an Aki (land) Ceremony at the site of the Golden Leaf Agrivoltaics Project in Drummond/North Elmsley. Golden Leaf is a proposed agrivoltaics project being developed by Golden Leaf Agrivoltaics Inc., a partnership between the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation and Compass Greenfield Development. Golden Leaf was awarded a Long Term 2 contract with the Independent Electricity System Operator in April 2026.
